WA Plastics Ban

Effective 1st July, 22 we will no longer be able to reorder a large number of our boutique paper plates and disposable plastic cutlery. This is due to the Enforcement of Stage 1 regulations of the WA Plastics Ban.

From 1 October 2022, we cannot supply disposable plastic cups for cold drinks.

The WA Plan for Plastics is being implemented by the WA Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER) in order to reduce plastic pollution.

Many of our suppliers are working hard to implement a plan to transition their paper tableware products to new manufacturing processes.

This means that the products will be compliant to Western Australian legislation and any potential future legislation introduced by other states.
